The long-term plan of the Home is the provision of facilities and resources to promote learning opportunities for every child to succeed in life. The Student Care Centre with its multi-purpose hall, classrooms and learning centre provides a conducive environment for the child's learning experience.

Education, especially a holistic one, is one of the means by which a child gets a head start in society. It is the Home's ultimate goal to see that the disadvantaged child is at least given the assistance and equipped with skills to propel him/her towards integration into the mainstream society.

At the same time, every staff member is given opportunities to develop skills and experiences in the area of child development. The Home allows space for training. Where possible, the Home shares its training facilities with parents and fellow professionals from schools and other agencies.

Funding

The Home receives financial assistance from:

  • Philanthropic organisations
  • Free medical care from the government for residents with low family income
  • Parents and well-wishers for its recurrent expenditure
  • Per Capital Grant from MCYS for residents
  • Student Care fee subsidy from CDC
  • Donations from Corporations, Groups & Individuals
  • Home's appeal programme
  • Home's Social Enterprise

Throughout the years, corporate bodies and individuals have generously supported the Home. To them, the children of Canossaville would like to give a resounding...

"THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!"
