We invite applicants for the position of

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

At Canossaville Children's Home, we support the needs & development of children who need care & guidance, either on a before-after school care basis or residential basis (for girls only). We work with their family members to provide our children with the emotional and psychological support to develop into happy, confident & resilient individuals who are other-centred.

The Job:

Reporting to the Management Committee (MC), the Executive Director provides leadership & guidance and is actively involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop & implement policies & programs aligned to strategies as set by the MC
• Lead, manage and develop staff & volunteers
• Maintain sound fiscal accountability and budget priorities
• Facilitate good & timely communication to all stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all stakeholders' requirements (our children & their families, government agencies, donors & well-wishers etc)

The successful candidate should:

• Be self-directed, energetic, creative and flexible
• Have a degree or professional qualifications in a relevant discipline; with
• Minimum 5 years' work experience in a managerial role, preferably in a related field such as in a VWO or Education
• Have experience in dealing with children
• Possess good interpersonal skills; and have
• Strong interest and ability to work with diverse partners from the public, private and people sectors
